Loving life

I am thinking if I keep track of food a bit better I will do better.

Today I had coffee, a lean pocket, chips, potato salad, cauliflower, broccoli, and steak.

I was impressed. I had a lean turkey cheese pocket in a pretzel bread. It was 7 points, but man it was yummy. I am not a lean pocket fan. The one in pretzel bread was very good.

So far today I have eaten 20 points. I have 9 left.

I still need to get up and walk on the treadmill though. We shall see.

  1. Hi Kim! I started running with the Couch to 5k Program. It is conditioning training that slowly builds your endurance over time. It is meant to be done in 8 wks however there is no shame in repeating days/weeks until it feels almost easy.

    As for your plate/pins I would probably check with a Dr before getting started, it's probably going to be one of those things where they say you can do as much as you can tolerate ache wise but you never know. Did you have rehab for it when they were put in? I would imagine stretching and icing would be very important too.

  2. Thanks. Sorry this took me forever. I am surely going to look into that couch to 5k. thanks.
    On the plate I did not do therapy (thought I could do it on my own). It has been 3 years, and it aches and swells some. I think I have just been scared really to hurt it again. I guess because I could not believe it happened in the first place.
