Treadmill

I am super excited today.

I walked on the treadmill for 20 minutes, and out of that 20 minutes I jogged 4 minutes. I am very happy about that.

I broke my ankle and had surgery a couple of years ago, and have really babied it ever since. I am starting to get moving. I have not ran in years anywhere.

My goal is to do some 5k runs next year. Yep runs. For me that is huge. I have never been in a run before. I want to do multiple 5ks next year, and I want to run them all.

We shall see.

The Weekend

Yesterday was the weigh in. I lost .8.
I was kind of bummed, but it is a loss and I need to be happy about that. I want to start losing over a pound a week.

I do not like when I have a meal and it is not that great. It bothers me because I try to choose good food to use my calories on. When it does not taste good or is cooked wrong it really bothers me, because I can not get those calories back.

I plan on getting some exercise and making good food choices this weekend.

Sleepy

It is Tuesday. I am doing pretty good this week. I have not gotten in as much exercise as I would like to. I very much need to work on that.

I had a tortilla with humus on it last night, and it was very yummy.

I am very sleepy and find myself eating more sometimes when I am tired.
I am not sure what I am eating tonight. It is a quick dinner evening.

It looks like I have lost some weight this week, but not sure how much. I step on the scale each morning just to keep an eye on myself and progress.

I am going to try to get some treadmilling in tonight and tomorrow. We shall see.

The Weigh In

I weighed in yesterday. I lost 1.8 for a total of 43.4 in just under 6 months.
I feel like I have a long way to go. It feels like it has been a long journey, but I need to remember I did not gain the weight over night so I am not going to lose it overnight.
We went out to dinner last night and I underestimated how fattening my meal was. I was thinking 30 points on the WW plan, but it was 49 points. It was surely a wake up to call to keep on my toes and pay attention.
We will see what the next week brings.

Back on to blogging

I have been slacking very much on my blogging.
I am getting back on track.

In 23 weeks I have lost 41.6 pounds. I still have 23 pounds more to lose to reach my lifetime at weight watchers. I want to lose 32 more pounds for my own goal.

The last couple of weeks my loses have not been very big. This week started out rough, but the last 3 days were great. Today is the day I weigh in. I did not do well today though. I ate lunch and it was just to much. I am so hoping for a loss.

It surely is great that my husband is doing it also. He is almost at his goal, and I am going to really have to push myself to stay on track.

We will see how the weigh in goes today. Stay tuned.
